UPDATED APRIL 29, 2020
During these scary and uncertain times we want to help all of our past, present and future patients and clients as well as Front Line Healthcare Professionals and First Responder’s to feel better physically, mentally and emotionally. Mindful Meditation can strengthen physical and emotional resilience and help to generate a sense of calmness, clarity and compassion.
It is also well known that stress decreases the body’s lymphocytes — the white blood cells that help fight off infection. The lower your lymphocyte level, the more at risk you are for viruses, including the common cold and common flu.
High stress levels also can cause high blood pressure, anxiety, depression, irritability, insomnia, poor eating habits and other chronic conditions including increased systemic inflammation, none of which are helpful to our body’s ability to fight off COVID 19.
For those reasons we are now offering specially designed FREE Trauma Sensitive classes to First Responder’s and Front Line Healthcare Professionals. We are also offering very low priced on-line Live Trauma Sensitive Meditation classes for everyone else.
Everyone can schedule for classes now and will receive a link via email confirmation.
If you have any questions or are in Hospital Administration and would like to arrange for private group classes, please call us at 856-751-8908 to discuss special arrangements.
We are also providing Online Therapy for NJ residents as well as Couples Communication & Mindful Meditation Coaching for both in and out of state residents. Please call: 856-751-8908 to talk to Lori about scheduling Online Therapy or all types of Coaching Sessions.
We believe as Jon Kabat-Zinn has so eloquently stated that; “If we want to act wisely in the world, the first step is to learn to quiet the mind. If our actions are born from grasping or fear, they will perpetuate the problems. Only when our own minds and hearts are peaceful can we expect peace to come through the actions we take. When we react to insecurity with fear we worsen the problem—we create a frightened society. Instead we can use courage and compassion to respond calmly, with both prudent action and a fearless heart.”
We will continue to keep everyone posted here and on our Facebook Page and via email.
